About Raechel
A San Diego mother
moved to act.
Raechel Kadoya is a San Diego-based business owner, mother, and the driving force behind the Support Sake Tour. When she learned that Seiko Kinshichi had lost both her home and her historic family brewery in the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, Raechel — who had once endured a similar devastating loss — felt an immediate and profound connection.
Determined to help a stranger rebuild her life, Raechel channelled her energy into building a movement. She assembled a team, partnered with Hollywood rock band The Falling Doves, and launched the Support Sake Tour — a cross-country campaign using music, storytelling, and community to raise awareness and funds for Noto's recovery.
As Producer and Executive Producer of the documentary, Raechel is also the co-author of the companion book and the story behind the film. Her belief in the power of compassion and cultural preservation is the heartbeat of everything Support Sake stands for.
About Seiko

Seiko Kinshichi is the keeper of a historic family sake brewery on Japan's Noto Peninsula — a region renowned for its centuries-old brewing traditions. When the catastrophic earthquake of January 1, 2024 struck, Seiko lost not only her home but the brewery that had been in her family for generations.
Her story — of loss, resilience, and the determination to preserve something irreplaceable — became the catalyst for the entire Support Sake movement. Seiko's commitment to the ancient craft of sake brewing, and to the community of Noto, is the soul of the documentary.
As co-author of the story and a central figure in the film, Seiko represents the thousands of artisans and families across the Noto Peninsula who are rebuilding their lives — one bottle, one barrel, one day at a time.
